Installation Instructions

Our patented product makes it easy to attach your umbrella holder to your sports, camping, fishing, and boating equipment.

caution
Read and follow all safety instructions, warnings, and operating instructions before using or installing the product. If unsure of the installation process, please consult a qualified person. Always use gloves, eye protection, and any other safety protection as necessary during installation.

step 1
Loosen wing nuts on one side of bottom clamp bolts.

step 2
Remove bolts from opposite side of clamp and set top and bottom side of clamp around object.

step 3
Slide bolts back in position and replace and tighten wingnuts and lock washers on bottom side of clamp only.

note
Clamp will fit round or square tubing.


alternative installation
We also include a mounting piece for round tubing which may fit better in some cases. As you can see at right, this piece replaces the 4 bolt clamp. Use the mounting piece as a template and drill two 1/4" holes in the position you want to mount your Third Arm. Slide two bolts through the base, bracket and tubing, and tighten.


caution
Clamp, if not tightened properly can spin around tube or frame. Be sure to tighten and secure properly. Only insert your umbrella into Third Arm with a full golf bag. DO NOT use Third Arm in situations where wind or weather conditions may create an unsafe environment. Lock in and remove umbrella from Third Arm with umbrella in closed position. Always remove umbrella before storing Third Arm. Always adjust and fold Third Arm after umbrella is removed.




limited lifetime warranty
Third Arm Solutions, Inc. ("Company") warrants its products against defective workmanship and material for the life of the product.

Any product for which a warranty claim is made in the U.S. only hereunder is to be returned transportation prepaid plus $9.95 for shipping and handling within the US of the replacement product to Company. Include a proof of purchase with the returned product. If inspection shows the product is defective in material or workmanship, Company will replace the defective part(s) in a timely manner at no additional charge and return the product. These acts by Company shall constitute fulfillment of all liabilities of Company to purchaser or any other party, whether based on tort or contract, negligence or otherwise, with respect to or arising out of this agreement or the product.

This warranty does not apply to (i) any product made by Company that is subject to misuse, accident, abuse, neglect or negligence, is not operated in accordance with the printed instructions of Company, has been operated beyond the capacity of the product, has been used after partial failure or has been repaired or altered by anyone other than Company, or (ii) any damage or injury resulting from the installation or use thereof.

There are no further understandings, agreements, representations, guarantees or warranties, written or oral, express or implied, relating to, affecting or collateral to this agreement or the Company's products. COMPANY MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. THE ABOVE WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE, INFRINGEMENT AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES. Except as provided herein, purchaser assumes all risk and liability resulting from the installation and use of Company's products. This agreement states the entire obligation of Company in connection with the purchase of its products.

No oral or written information given by Company, its dealers, distributors, employees, or agents shall in any way extend, modify, or add to the forgoing warranty.
